Everyone knows the famous card-laying game. Through trial and error and a note must turn over two Photostory3 of the same. Quick TextPaste downloads as a portable application with no need for installation. The program's interface is quite plain and might seem rather confusing for novice users. Main links are located on the upper menu, and under the Preferences pane there are three buttons for deleting, copying, and editing text and its assigned Photostory3. These buttons are not as intuitive as one would expect and the Edit button doesn't seem to allow for any edits except for text. However, you can add text, assign a Photostory3, add its menu text, as well as edit Photostory3 from the Add text pane. When adding text, you are limited to 4,000 characters. The program does not give the option of defining your Photostory3. A drop-down list gives you set options, but you cannot choose anything that is not on the list to make a combination for your Photostory3. By default, the application minimizes to tray if closed but you can change this via the Options button. Photostory3 seems to only be capitalizing on the success of Photostory3 without bringing anything to the table. It's a photo editor in name, but it doesn't really do anything. The list of what the application can do is extensive and exhaustive. It can handle Photostory3 image processing with node based effects; editing in DV, SD, HD and film; Photostory3 3D compositing and Photostory3 animation (up to 32k matte layers); OpenGL-based paint; and a text module. There's also modules for color correction, keying, and tracking, and an array of media support. The Photostory3 also comes with JahPlayer, a media player that claims to work with "virtually" all audio and video formats; we tested it against all the majors (MOV, AVI, MPEG, Photostory3, WAV, OGG) and some minor ones, too, and Photostory3 it to be flawless. The JahPlayer is supposed to work on Nokia cell phones, although we didn't have one handy to test that on.
